Monument in the Mist
It’s Christmas time, and the Monument on the Circle is a favorite target of local photographers every year. I took advantage of a very misty, foggy evening and used a tripod to capture several exposures, which I then combined into a single HDR image. HDR has a well-earned reputation for being bad photography, because it’s often applied heavy-handedly. Subtlety is often the key to success.
