Henhouse #1
Patton, IN USA
Winter is just about made for black and white photography, even if there isn’t any snow. Look at the light color of the tall, dead, tangled yellow grasses contrasted with the dark tones of the vines and wood of the henhouse. Putting the building in the top third of the crop also allowed the foreground to be dominant enough to compete with the subject, and give it a sense of scale and place.
